Love Lula: John Masters Lavender & Avocado Intensive.
13:40Hola Amigos!
Sorry I haven't been blogging much! For the past month, I was in Malta but don't worry, I have a backlog of posts coming up including one for my 19th birthday which was on July 16th! Anyway my lovelys, days before travelling I got this John Masters Organics Conditioner from Love Lula (praise the lord it came in time!). When I first saw the ingredients (carry on reading for an in-depth breakdown, woohoo!), I fell in LOVE. LOVE Lula.. you get it? No? Awkwarddd.
LOVE LULA is the cutest company I have come across like.. ever. We've all been proud to be British recently because of the Olympics but to be honest I am forever proud of companies like Love Lula that flourish even at times of rainnn, yes yes interesting use of English there right? You get free delivery over £30 and three free samples with your purchases. Also, the mere convenience of having so many natural brands on one webby does it for me! I've just realised they've got the same birthday as me JULY 16th, this is obvs fate!
To say this John Masters product is amazing would be an understatement so I'm going to go that one step further and say that this product is TOTES AMAZE BALLS!
It was the little things that really got me like the foil wrap at the tip to ensure freshness, it's such a small simple jesture that makes such a massive difference. The smell is heavenly, absolute gold! It smells so.. you know when you love a smell and smell it like an infinity times? Yeah that! It reminds me of walking into a spa, so relaxing and tantalising. The most significant scents from it is the Lavender but that was kind of LIKE DUH because it's called "John Masters Organics Lavender & Avocado Intensive Conditioner" :)
"Lavender and avocado oil are combined with over 10 certified-organic plant extracts and oils to bring intense moisture and vitality to dry hair. Hair is left shiny, soft and luxurious. Wonderful, light lavender scent. Safe for color-treated hair. 7 fl oz.

• soy protein - strengthens hair follicles; makes hair look thicker and fuller, improves shine
• white tea - detoxifies hair and scalp
• arnica - hydrates scalp; stimulates hair growth"
I think this product is worth every single penny. Why? Try by all means to buy each individual organic product used and it'll set you back MUCH MORE I promise! Go on, I challenge you. I have personally been searching for a product with Jojoba Oil for the past few months and this by far surpasses all potential candidates. Hopefully you know but if you didn't know, you're about to find out that: Jojoba Oil has the closest pH to the hair, skin/scalp. Aloe Vera also has a pH of betwen 3 to 4 which helps to close hair cuticles which leads to beautiful soft hair due to the laying down of the cuticle! Avocado oil packed with anti-oxidants, it helps strengthen and nourish the hair preventing it from environmental damage. To be honest, I could go on and on about every single ingredient but don't just take my word for it, do some research and you'll see!
So what did it do for my hair? What did I do? I hear you ask! Well well well wouldn't you like to know? Lucky you, I'm about to tell you! I was in Malta for a few weeks with scorching levels of heat! As you can imagine, any hair (especially hair that isn't used to the sun, hashtag British "Summer") will crave some conditioning. So after some time at Malta, I think mid way, I decided to treat my hair with JM (abbreviation!) so firstly I detoxed/washed my hair with bentonite clay mixed with aloe vera and lavender, then I rinsed that off and removed excess water from my hair using my little ol' hands in preparation to apply the lush Lavender & Avocado Intensive conditioner. I was surprised as to how little I needed. The consistency is one a of thick creamy base so I literally hardly used any. My hair was seperated in jumbo twists (as per usj) and I used a pea size per section. Let's remember how thick my hair is! The little amount was MORE than enough for all my hair and it provided me with such slip! When I washed off the condish, OMG my hair felt so strengthened but moisturised at the same time, such a perf (as in derived from perfect!) combination. I then just let it dry and rocked a twist out! It is safe to say that I absolutely LOVEEE lula this product! So go on, head over to www.lovelula.com :)
Thanks for reading and until next time!
LOVE JENNY ❤
