Well I say, simply change those killer gold glitter platform heels to a pair of sneakers!
I love this Peplum Jacket by AX Paris* not only is it FIERCE but it's so comfortable AND there's space to layer underneath so you can feel BOOTYFURL and warm this AW12! Speaking about the winter, how cold has it been? I think it's a new time low for England, I mean I know it's December but even Santa's jacket ain't avoiding this lethal weather!
One of the things I loved most about this AX Paris jacket is the fact that the studs didn't get stuck in my hair! I know I'm mega random but come on how often can you say that? I had my hair down with no problems at all, no tangles, no intertwining, no nothing. At first I thought I may have had to do an updo but nope these were stud on! You get it? Stud/Spot ON.. No? Awks ;) but anyway, I’ll try not to go off on a tangent as I tend to! I can tell you now, this jacket is a keeper and a winner for all seasons. The peplum just adds le chique to “the simple black jacket” which is always a bonus. The studs matched my “ellipsis studs” oh so effortlessly. I know you’re like “erm Jennifer, you keep on saying ellipsis piercing in your blog, what is it?!” I’ll give you a hint, ellipsis means three consecutive full stops, once you’ll process that definition, look at my ear! The peplum jacket MADE this outfit, this outfit IS the peplum jacket. Even though I’m generally wearing all black, you can see that this outfit could potentially turn heads and it did when I wore it (*BLACKGIRLBLUSH*). I consider myself semi-shy so I still find myself cringing when people stare at me and compliment me and with this outfit I had so many people do that and ask where my jacket was from, so very well done AX Paris!
The pink beanie is from Hashtag Fash and OMG does pink get anymore neon that this? I've previously had a pink beanie which I bought about four years now but it's not made out of Acrylic, it is made out of Silk.. yes I know you're thinking "erm Jennifer since when are beanies made out of Silk?!" erm well I guess my response is that it can also be called a Silk Bonnet ;) also earlier in the year around March I decided to order an Acrylic pink beanie but it just wasn't as BRIGHT as this Hashtag Fash one!

The pink lipstick is Girl About Town by Mac. I've always loved matching my pink beanie with pink lipstick, there's just something about it! As you know I pretty much just wear either Russian Rouge by Mac or Girl About Town! I noticed the more layers of this particular lipstick you put on, the darker (steering towards red) it looks so I beared that in mind - in general it's definitely a magenta/fuchsia 'dark' pink.
The "Don't Follow Fashion, Lead It" tote bag is totes amaze balls and it's from the Fashion Fringe show at London Fashion Week SS13 Day 5. I wear this bag every single day now, no exaggeration. I just can't bring myself to let go of it. Only people who were seated at the amazing show got one and seriously I had such an amazing time! I am forever grateful and honoured for being invited so once again thanks once again to everyone behind the Fashion Fringe show!
The track pant is from Internacionale, I bought it a few years ago. I think it’s always good to have essential pieces in your wardrobe and this one definitely one that you can pair with pretty much anything. I loved pairing it with the AX Paris Peplum Jacket because even though theoretically speaking a “track pant” is sort of casual especially because of features such as le cuffed angle but this combination brought out the glam and sort of made it look like a suit and for such a long while now I’ve been wanting to do a "suit" and beanie combo, hashtag SuitAndBeanie for the win (FTW)!
I say this all the time but seriously have fun with fashion, do the unconventional! Pair things that wouldn’t normally be paired but until then look out for an exciting competition coming up next mi amigos!
