Autumn/Winter 2013 Outfit Ideas Under £250 - #MySummerRefresh Reveal With Collect Plus.

Hey guys! So I thought I'd give you all some Autumn Winter style ideas as well as finally revealing what I spent my £250 from the Collect Plus challenge! Ready?
Okay so with £250, you can strategically buy.. 50 things at £5 each. 25 things at £10 each. 5 things at £50 each. 2 things for £125. Maybe even one thing at £250. The amount depends on you, and the level your wardrobe isOVERflowing. Some bloggers were chosen to take part in a Collect Plus challenge where we sold our pre-loved items on eBay and posted using CollectPlus, the delivery process was super quick and simple, re-read my post here! They then gave us a whopping £250 in addition to whatever we made from selling our stuff. I understand not everyone has £250 so I put a HUGE wide range of items in this post and hopefully you can use this as a small guide that you can come back to for ideas! Furthermore, even if you have £20 why not incrementally increase that value by searching for discount codes first? There's this website I came across called Latest Fashion Deals and as the name suggests, it tells you all the latest fashion deals for all the popular stores. Everything from Free P&P (yes, including Collect Plus postage!) to money off your purchases. In this post, you'll see items from House Of Fraser, Monsoon, Missguided, Clarks, Debenhams, even from ASDA and M&S, plus many many more - Latest Fashion Deals has offers for all the stores I just mentioned, giving you the opportunity to stretch whatever you have, so today is your lucky day I guess. Okay so firstly! Peplum Jumpers/Jackets. Let's get this straight, we can be warm AND #fash at the time time? Whoever created "peplum" needs a high five honeyyy, it suits ANY body shape and creates an hour glass figure, which according to my sources is the "ideal womanly figure" (Source: Gok Wan LOL). Never feel disheartened by opinions though, your body is BEAUTIFUL just the way it is!
Jumpsuits are a dream come true. Of course you can wear them with jackets/coats but ultimately you CAN wear them on their own, in this instance, the second and third jumpsuit can surely keep in warm in the autumn-winter. Throw on a pair of heels and et voila, gurrrl you'll look a million pounds (doesn't sound as fabulous as a million dollars right? However Economically speaking, a million pounds hold higher value than a million dollars and the current conversion rate as of Tuesday 1st October 2013 is £1 to $1.62 - nice little unnecessary random fact there for you)!
These American Apparel Knee High socks are quite something. Yep, I'm one of those people that buys the same thing in as many colours as possible, I have no shame! Ultimately, these are knee-high so you CAN wear them with something shorter than the usual A/W style e.g. a dress/shorts/skirt and you'll know that most of your legs are warm! You can even wear these socks under trousers (or over, if you are a hipster).
Someone, PLEASE I need an asthma pump, how HOT is this faux fur jacket? I can't breatheee. OMG! Honestly, a few years ago I had purple hair (well, weave) it wasn't the ratchet type haha, I was actually going for a SUPER deep, almost black purple so gurrrl you best believe I did my research! This purple is known as palatinate purple eminence, dark raspberry, eggplant purple, deep purple, english violet (I know "english" it should be capaitalised, but it wouldn't have fit in aesthetically so my sincerest apologies are offered), aubergine, plum, byzantium and many more! So yeah, I got obsessed with purple hair and lip colours so hence why you tend to see me with either red lipstick or purple lipstick!
Okay so why not use a new season to experiment with your style? I would have never put myself in the Desert Boot category before but erm why not!? I'm gonna try and #swag#dope#twerk it up (that was a joke btw, awks) haha but honestly, why not wear desert boots with a basketball jersey? It's unconventional but oooh that's what I love! Apparently Clarks first shoe were desert boots so when the idea popped in my head I had to check them and was amazeddd by the different textures and colours, from suede to red to glossy finishes to purple [inserts all the different shade of dark purple here] to the cutest but hottest pink! Go for hints of pink, oh and Think Pink because it's Breast Cancer Awareness month! FYI, yes, I spelt "desert" as "dessert" a couple of times but thankfully noticed the error before I published this post! :)
You can never go wrong with a simple black jumper can you? So let's add a slight sports luxe feel to it and see how we feel! I loved these jumpers because they're a jazzed up version of The Black Jumper. Stripes and contrasted sleeves will look great with leggings, skirts and you can add tights/socks for extra warmth!
These peplum waistcoat styled tops are gorge. In terms of styling, the world's your absolute oyster! You can wearing jumpers underneath, contrast the sleeves or match. Wear with leggings, skirts or trousers, why not go for a wide-leg look! Don't forget, you can wear tights or socks underneath your trousers (depending on your choice of footwear) for extra warmth.
I have unconditional love for polka dots, (p.s. I'm totally a Disney girl at heart). I don't mind if the radius of each dot is 0.5mm or 5mm, I love them all! These three gorgeous pieces just show that honestly you can see wear dresses and playsuits in the A/W without feeling loco! Find your thickest pair of tights and a cute jacket (perhaps a faux fur jacket) and you'll feel on top of the world!
So these beauts are called culottes/skorts and they're so aesthetically pleasing. I mean you get the relief from them being shorts and not worrying about the length but you also get the girly-ness of the skirt plus the asymmetric cut finish, talk about a 3 in one deal! I remember before ordering these, I dug out my tape measure and measured the length as I was worried it'd be too short but when they arrived, I was so happy as the length was perf! Apparently with these you get one size bigger, so be sure to choose the size wisely for the perfect fit :)
Red velvet cake cake cake? Red velvet dress, erm yes please! Oooh and Sephora said emerald was the colour of 2012 right? Guess I wouldn't mind some of that either! I absolutely loved the 'wrap' detailing of these garments, they're great for any shape. Also the material, ahhh so velvety smooth, yup pun intended.
Can I get a hell yeaaah? Nope, not the Miley kind. HOLLA, yes like Jay-Z. Party In The USA? But I'm from the UK.. awks. ANYWAY, let's take a short moment for this outfit pretty please. I tried to refrain from showing you how I'd fully style these outfits as I'd rather show it to you on but omg, the deep cherry VELVET against the innocent vulnerable pale pastel cream almost pink? YES PLEASE. I saw these items separately and pair them up instantaneously. I hate the word(s) "trends" "trendy" "trend" however I thought I'd tell you that APPARENTLY "pink is the colour for autumn" - oh and masculine tailoring is "in" so yeah, just in case you wanted to know.
I know, I know it's freezing cold so an evening dress may not cross your mind! However, this season we have all sorts of celebrations including Christmas and New Years so we gotta bear the cold right? Just meet in the middle with a beautiful minimally embellished maxi dress, with your hair tied back in a classy bun, that little tip can make an affordable dress feel a million pounds!

I'm writing this as I try out a new app on my phone called Bloom FM, I've seen like a dozen and one ad's everywhere around London and really wanted to give it a go. It's a music app and music makes me happy. Plus their brand colour is canary yellow like Minnie Mouse's heels sooo I was sold from then on, anyway. It's free to download and you can listen to all your fave's in one app over 3G and/or Wifi so it shall be my new BFF, sorry guys applications for my BFF will be opening again shortly.
